The city has been protected by Superman, Superboy, Powergirl, Vibe, and Gypsy and Lois as the co-leader who have successfully defeated Silver Banshee and The Prankster with some help from the MPD. Meanwhile, Lana is now cured of being Killer Frost and is now back on Team Superman, but she is still traumatized by the unethical things she did as Killer Frost. Clark and Perry investigate the murder of someone who Superman previously saved when he first started out. Perry identifies him as Harry Dockland, a former professor at National City University. Clark begins to remember that four years ago, he saved Harry when he was being mugged by a criminal. Meanwhile, Lois and Clark have been engaged but now they begin to feel that they should extend the wedding date, because of their double lives. Clark finally reveals to Lois that he was attacked by Jimmy Olsen, but Lois exclaims that Jimmy died three years ago. Clark explains that he's been having problems with his powers afterhis recent confrontation, which leads to Lois arguing that he doesn't trust her. A belief that she confirms because he doesn't want her to get hurt. Later, a woman is walking with her friends and notices that a guy with a hood has been following them. He then attacks them, killing them all except her. He then touches her, as Phantom Zone energy begins burning her alive. The team come to the conclusion that a Meta-Human with the power to manipulate Phantom Zone energy has been attacking people who Superman has saved. Pete pulls up a list of names who are a target. Clark sees Cat Grant's name on the list, and suits up as Superman going alone to stop him against the team's wishes. The man breaks into Daily Planet and starts absorbing their energy killing them instantly. He almost kills Cat, until Superman speeds in punching him against the wall. The man tells Superman that he's doing this all for him, but Superman says that he is crazy. Superman and the strange man get into a heated battle, with the man winning when he absorbs Superman's heat vision, and deflects it back injuring Clark. Later, Clark wakes up at S.T.A.R Labs and Perry chastises him about going out into the field alone, and that he could have gotten himself killed. Pete dubs the man Cicada, who is revealed to be David Hersch a man somehow connected to Cat. Clark, Pete, and Lois visit Cat who asks her why Cicada would attack her. She then explains that before she dated Clark, she was seeing David but he got angry when they broke up. Additionally, after the Particle Accelerator explosion he has been using his powers for revenge. Clark vows that he and his team will take him down, and reveals to the team about his fading powers suggested by Perry. Lana tracks down Cicada at an abandoned building where he has many civilians held hostage, unless Superman comes. Clark decides to allow his team to help, so they all suit up and head to the location. Superman and Superboy begin fighting Cicada, who easily takes them down. Vibe then blasts him with concentrated energy, but the force of the blast is too much knocking Pete back. Gypsy and Powergirl gets everyone to safety, and join in the battle. Superman begins flying very fast. He then creates a tornado and throws it at Cicada with everyone combining their powers defeating him instantly. In the end, David is arrested by the MPD and sent to Strykers Island, and Clark faints after he brings back food for Lois ending in a cliffhanger.
  2. "Correlation"- Lois meets an acclaimed genius reporter named Davis Bloome (Dave Franco), on her investigation into finding Jimmy , who helps track him down, but cannot find a trail of him anywhere on the Earth. Back at S.TA.R Labs, Pete  loses hope and says there is no possible way to fully get Clark's powers back , as they can't duplicate the particle accelerator reaction, as it would kill him for sure. A gang of criminals target Hamilton Corp, and steals a weapon created by Tracy Brand. They also manage to shoot members of the MPD, before escaping. Clark decides to use his job as an Investigative Reporter to solve the crime with Perry and Lois discovering that a gang known as The Jackals, have stolen a piece of valuable tech that can bring the whole city of Metropolis to its knees. Clark visits Tracy and finds out what they stole was a Kryptonian power source designed to power a bomb in the city. Lana tracks down their next heist: using the weapon at Milton Fine's gala. She also creates Velocity-10 for Clark, to improve his speed temporarily as he and Conner suit up as Superman and Superboy. The duo confront the Jackals, and Superman attacks the leader knocking his mask off. Superman becomes shocked at the leader's identity, and gets blasted by a ray of Kryptonian energy. Superboy also fails to catch the van because of Kryptonite near the area. Furious that the gang got away, Clark reveals to the team that the gang leader was his childhood best friend from Smallville, named Manuel Lago who was thought to have been dead for years. Perry organizes the task-force to go after the Jackals, which results in an all out war in Metropolis. Manuel plants the Kryptonian weapon in the center of the city, and Clark arrives as Superman saving the police and citizens. Superman speeds into Manuel, injuring him. Manuel then takes out Krypronite, revealing that he always knew that Superman was Clark Kent. As Superman gets weaker, Manuel continues to beat him up. Perry aims his gun at Manuel ordering him to stand down. Manuel then allows himself to be arrested, as Superboy destroys the bomb with help from Powergirl and Vibe. Lois invites Davis to join Team Superman with Clark revealing his secret identity to him. Meanwhile, a businessman named Alexander Petrov holds a press conference against Kryptonians saying that Superman isn't a hero. Clark visits Manuel and tries to find out what went wrong in their friendship. 3. "The Return Of Bloodsport"- Clark  remains with half of his powers and not even Emmett Hamilton or Hank Henshaw from the future can not even help him. After a daring attempt to get back his speed, Clark is then approached by the unnerving revelation that the Phantom Zone might eventually be  completely ripped out of his body. Lois conspires that Bloosport's return has to do with Jimmy's revival. Cynthia tries to have a normal day as a couple with Pete, but their Team Superman work gets in the way. Superman, Superboy, and Vibe meet up with Alex and question him on why he returned. However, Bloodsport blasts Superman and Superboy with his Krypronite gun and manages to subdue Vibe, saying that "he never reveals any of his secrets". Lana begins to think that Alex went rouge, but Earth-Two Dr. Hamilton and Hank both believe that this version of Bloodsport is an anomaly when Hank's time manipulation machine suddenly goes off. New detective Dan Turpin, becomes interested in the case and wants Superman and his team to stay out of it. Bloodsport begins to murder all of his old gang contacts, and is nearly apprehended by Dan and the MPD Task-force. Dan reveals that he lost someone close to him because of Alex, and Alex nearly kills him until Superman speeds him out of the way. Superman warns Bloodsport to stand down, and that they were friends. Alex calls Superman weak and reveals that he has a bomb hidden in four main parts of the city, so Hank, Pete, Lana, and Dr. Hamilton locate the bomb. Superboy, Vibe, Gypsy, and Powergirl take down Bloodsport's gang, and Superman pins Alex to the wall. Superman vibrates his hand intending to kill Alex, but Bloodsport taunts Superman saying that he doesn't kill and he is wasting his time. Bloodsport then escapes, as Superman looks on angry. Metallo weakens everyone using his Kryptonite heart, Powergirl manages to save Silas Stone from Roulette's weapon forcing her to escape. Metallo continues savagely beating up Superman until her nearly kills him. Bloodsport orders Toy Man to plant explosives in the area, as the whole building explodes. They manage to escape, and head back to S.T.A.R Labs where Pete privately tells Clark that if he continues to get affected by Kryptonite it could burn out his powers permanently, to which Lana adds more Kryptonian armored padding on the suit to protect him from Kryptonite rays. Pete, Lana and Silas finally get a lead on Victor Stone's whereabouts which is why Perry leads the MPD Task-force to the location followed by Superman, Superboy, Powergirl, Vibe and Gypsy who take a group of criminals. Superman engages Metallo in a heated battle once again, with Metallo beating Superman up again. Superman then tackles Metallo continuously punching him in the face, until he throws Metallo around the wall as Superboy uses heat vision knocking him out. The MPD task-force begins defeating more thugs, as Bloodsport, Roulette and Toy Man escape from captivity leaving Metallo to be arrested. Pete cheers up Clark and tells him that in the last five years Metropolis has been protected by Superman and his team and to not give up hope. He also mentions that what happened to Lana wasn't his fault and says that they will find her. Meanwhile, Lois and Davis both get suspicious of what Alexander Petrov  is doing at PETROV Sciences and the two team up to sneak inside and investigate what's going on inside. They discover that he is a Meta-Human and has been working on a cerebreal looking project which was located on various schriveled up bodies on the floor. They also find that Petrov's real name is Clifford Devoe. Intergang, lead by Bloodsport and Roulette, return to Metropolis and begin causing havoc. The duo target the MPD twice, before Superman, Superboy, Vibe, and Gypsy arrive and initially stop them. Bloodsport kidnaps Detective Turpin, Detective Sawyer and a bunch of other police officers. Bloodsport sends a message to Star Labs, asking if he can meet with Clark privately. Clark suits up as Superman and speeds off, and grabs Bloodsport speeding them off into another area. Meanwhile, Jessie has a heart to heart talk with Earth Two Dr. Hamilton about their future, and she tells him that she feels like that ever since her father and his other doppleganger died she's been ignoring it by going out in the field as Powergirl. Back in the woods, Clark tries to reconcile with Alex, and asks him why and why did he leave the Waverider to come back to Metropolis. Alex laughs and says that he isn't the same Bloodsport that he knew, and blasts Superman with a ray of Kryptonite energy from his improved gun. He then escapes, but not before revealing where the bombs are and saying that he knows that Killer Frost is back and is working with Cerulean. Clark returns to S.T.A.R Labs, and leads the team along with Perry and his squad to engage Intergang. Superman destroys the convoy of weapons and Vibe rescues the officers. Clark travels to the year 2058, where he learns that Pete has trained someone to be a new Vibe while also remaining distant from the future Clark. Future Clark works alone as the brooding sole protector of Metropolis as Superman Lana is married and is a new grandmother from her eldest son Ronnie and his wife. Jessie has continued her fathers legacy by running her company and also begins to fund the MPD. A reporter interviews Future Superman who states that he will no longer work in the shadows, and that he will always be there if people need him. Future Clark is told of the Thinker's intentions and battle to get rid of Kryptonians once and for all, which doesn't shock Clark, until he realizes that Doomsday and Cerulean wants to destroy the Phantom Zone, so he's given the revelation that Jimmy may be working with DeVoe and Doomsday. Back in 2020, Conner leads the team into a battle against The Thinker who instigates a fight. Devoe's robots end up severely injuring Powergirl when they emit Kryptonite energy beams.
